A song for you

There is a heart on the wall of my bedroom. It is a red cutted heart from a plastic sort of paper. I got it from my best friend (A) on high school. There is a sentence on it, she once wrote, that has almost been disappeared because it's almost 15 years old. The most intense friendship I ever had was with her. The day she came over to my camping in a summer during our friendship we made memories I will never forget. She sang for me on a climbing frame. It was the song 'Breakfast' from K'S Choice. We swam without our bikini tops for the first time in a lake. We played badminton. We talked 'baby skill' French under an umbrella while it was not raining at all. And we lay for ours listening to music of the cassette in the gettoblaster in a room of the tent, the tent we shared with my brothers. While I was hoping the moment would never stop.
These memories are the foundation of my blog and the key name 'Camping Grown Ups' that I've made up which you can see a lot on Hola Bola Babes.
And than: there is this moment of last night. I was checking my Facebook and an article of the website 'Vice' came by with the photoshoot of Olivia Lonsdale and Eeva de Frel. It caught my attention immediately and brought me back to her (A). Yes I miss the way life was at that time. And I miss the friendship I got with her. The intense synergy we got made us strong and joyfull. The first time I saw Olivia Lonsdale (online) she hypnotized me, I must say. She is my newest favourite Camping Grown Up.

I am your tinder surprise

This amazing shoot of model
Jac Jagaciak shot by Joachim Johnson for Marfa Journal Issue made me think about the movie La Vie D'adèle (2013). Maybe it is the indefinable color of her hair. Or the sensuality that's been captured in the photos.
I coupled up the shoot with some Current Elliot lookbook photography.
What do you think about it?

How do you feel now?

Oh my Rosie! Vogue Germany June 2014

I'm a big fan of David Hamilton his photography. That is why I am always a bit looking for images that have a little David Hamilton touch. Never cheap, always stylish, sensual and tasteful. What is often still difficult in this world where everything has a little too fast a polished look because of all the technics that are possible. That is why I am so joyful that Rosie has been photographed by the amazing Camilla Akrans. She is also a really good 'camping grown up' shooter.
Njoy and please give me your opinion.
xx Emilie
Ah, if there's a cure for this
I don't want it
Don't want it
If there's a remedy
I'll run from it, from it
I've got the sweetest hangover
I don't wanna get over
Sweetest hangover

I'm like a bird

When I'm looking for new images for my blog that worthwhile my attention the new content is mixing up in my head. And create new stories. The first editorial is from 'how to spend it' from the financial times. The second one is from one of my favourite photographers Nirrimi. The first one is really clear about having the message of telling about ballet (in a different way). The second one is my own vision on ballet. In a more natural way. But I do see a swan too. And I do see a lake. Only this time the bathtube is the lake. I like to make the first story of ballet a little bit more natural. Although I think the way they set up the creative arty styling is really amazing and unique.
I hope you njoy. Wich one is your favourite?

It is the night.
My body's weak.
I'm on the run.
No time for sleep.
I've got to ride.
Ride like the wind.
To be free again.
