Parisienne Margaux Lonnberg

Margaux Lonnberg is a 25 years old parisian model and blogger with an effortless sense of style. Her blog, “The Killing Moon” has become a favorite among fashion connoisseurs. Margaux touches on her favorite designers and spots she frequents in Paris.

What do you do in life?
I do a lot of things. After my studies in art history, I worked a bit with my father who’s a contemporary art dealer. I’ve always loved fashion and the “imagery” that goes along with it but going back to college seemed impossible. I met Garance Doré, who strongly persuaded me to start a blog. Which I did, without really knowing perfectly what I was doing. I wasn’t a stranger to the blog community because of the immense success of Garance Doré blog. I’ve had my blog for two years now and I get about 13 000 hits a day. Due to it’s success, I decided to launch my own clothing line (soon available), beautiful basics with noble fabrics with a cool rock n roll attitude. I’m also a video maker and I’m recording an album.

Your blog is followed by many. What do you think it takes to make a blog unique?
I wouldn’t be able to say what the key elements are to a successful blog, they’re different depending on the blogger. My blog is a place where people can get inspired, whether it’s music, photography, styling, state of mind etc. Everything is important. But I’m not your typical blogger, I’m not on social networks, I hardly communicate. I mean, yes I do communicate, I show what allows me to escape. And it’s a beautiful gift.

Camping Grown Ups - Amour ♥

'Camping Grown ups' is a name I've made up for photos who remind me of my own summertimes at southern French Campings (Carpentras, Genolac, Cassis etc..)with French friends named like Clemond, Laurent, Marion & Aurelie. But now we are not ten or fifteen years old anymore. We've grown up. So no pics of children running around, but older, beautiful, feminine, strong, passionne.

I’ve been walking in the same way as I did
Missing out the cracks in the pavement
And tutting my heel and strutting my feet
“Is there anything I can do for you dear? Is there anyone I can call?”
“No and thank you, please Madam. I ain’t lost, just wande
ring”

Traveling at the speed of light

Inspiring, dreamy, hypnotizing, fragile, art.
Njoy your time. Thanks for your visit.

Stunning thread installation, Plexus no. 19, by Gabriel Dawe's in Como, Italy.

The exhibit consists of two thread structures streamed across an upper and lower balcony that is meant to be experienced from different angles or at different times of the day. As Dawe's puts it, "When the sun comes in in the morning, it is fantastic. Having those window-shaped light beams add a dimension to the installation. I always like when I get direct sunshine on them because it emphasizes the layering of the thread in very interesting ways."
The installation is part of Miniartextil, an annual exhibition of contemporary art, and is open now through November 18, 2012. Via http://becauseimaddicted.net

Pocket full of sunshine

 By Blake Wright
Touch me
I am losing shape
Look I am invisible
Can you say my name
If there's a perfect sky that we came from
We'll be like stars forever shining on
Catch me
I am almost there
How can I be near
I am highspeed
I am everywhere
I couldn't catch your smile
You are blinded by another side
I couldn't say goodbye
You are traveling at the speed of light
You and me
We never cross the boundary
That's how I know you
I can hear you say
You and me
We never unweil mysteries
Once you are shining
We never tried again
You and me
We never cross the boundary
That's how I know you
I can hear you say
You and me
Always traveling separately
When I try to reach you
You are miles away
Lyrics: Alphawezen - Speed of Light

Laetitita Casta - Femme Fatale

My favourite top model: Laetitia Casta. Hypnotizing for men and women. Plus Belle in the videoclip from Rihanna. So cute in the Lancaster commercials I must buy. And now seen in the new Dolce & Gabbana commercial.
Magnifique. Power woman.
Vogue Spain 2012

You’re so hypnotizing
Could you be the devil, could you be an angel,
Your touch magnetizing
Feels like going floating, leaves my body glowing
They say be afraid
You’re not like the others, futuristic lovers
Different DNA, they don’t understand you

You’re from a whole 'nother world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I’m ready to go, lead me into the light
Lyrics: Katy Perry - ET

Laetitia Casta in the videoclip of Rihanna -Te Amo
They must like each other, can't deny..
