Forest Illusions @ Harper's Bazaar July '13

Actually it's summer in The Netherlands. Which means; it was already summer but it kept raining on and on. Now finally it's almost too warm to work at the office, to cycle for a long time (yes we cycle to every spot of the city in The Netherlands) or even for sun bathing. Of course I love the last option more than the first. But on one hand I can need a little refreshement now and than. And there I came to this sensational editorial in the Harper's Bazaar of Brasil. (Maybe they needed a fresh spark too, because I don't think the weather is ever as rainy as in The Netherlands.)

Anyhow. I love the FW coats in this editorial. The rain forest chills me. And of course the boxes are so inspirational. I'm thinking about of what they've been before.
Thank the magazine!

I know a man with nothing in his hands, nothing but a rolling stone

he told me about when his house burnt down, he lost everything he owned
he lay asleep for six whole weeks, they were gonna ask his mother to choose

when he woke up with nothing he said I’ll tell you something when you’ve got nothing, you’ve got nothing to lose

Now I’ve got a hole in my pocket, a hole in my shirt, a whole lot of trouble, he said but now the money is gone, life carries on and I miss it like a hole in the head
Lyrics: Passenger-Holes
Carolina Thaler by Bob Wolfenson for Harper's Bazaar Brasil July 2013.
